Welcome to the Jewish Community Preschool. We offer an alternative for families seeking a developmentally appropriate preschool program that will instill in your child a lifelong enthusiasm for learning. Our staff is committed to guiding and nurturing each child to grow and develop.
Your child will thrive in our interactive and stimulating environment that encourages creativity, discovery and self-expression. Play is an essential part of our preschool day and enhances each child’s emotional, physical and social development.
Our program will enrich your child with Jewish values and traditions while recognizing, respecting, and exploring cultural differences.
We would love to discuss all our program has to offer your family. Please call (540) 342-3378 to speak with our director, Hannah Greenberg.
Philosophy
The philosophy of our preschool is first and foremost to offer a program in
which we help families to nurture and educate their children in an environment
that promotes morals and values important for giving children quality learning.
The preschool is child centered, with hands-on approaches to learning. Our
curriculum is developmentally appropriate, adapting to serve the needs of each
individual child. Children are given opportunities to develop physically,
socially, cognitively, and spiritually. Teachers serve as guides, helping
children to discover things for themselves. The children are encouraged by
doing.
We serve children ages 2 to 4 and provide the following guidelines for
curriculum:
